The Fractal Trend indicator visually displays trend changes in price fractals based on the Price Action (PA) principle. The unique algorithm uses the fractal principle of determining a trend change and a new proprietary method of filtering fractals, which gives an advantage in relation to other similar indicators based on MA moving averages.

This new approach to trend determination helps to determine with high confidence the trend change points on any financial instrument and on any time frame. This will help to recognize a new emerging trend in a timely manner and without delays with fewer false positives.

The Fractal Trend indicator can be customized to suit your trading style. It also marks on the chart and gives an alert about changes in trend direction, which can be used as entry points.

In the current version 1.2, a new Price Action algorithm has been added to the indicator for the current chart, which gives fewer false positives

Peculiarities

1. Has no lag and does not redraw the result.
2. Simple and intuitive graphical interface, minimum settings.
3. The places where the trend changes using the fractal method are plotted on the moving average with a specified period in the settings.
4. It is possible to enable notifications when a trend changes: alert, email and push notification.
5. Has the ability to enable and disable the information panel with a tick indicator.
6. The ability to set the individual appearance of the indicator graphics from its settings.
7. Optimized code and minimal load on the computer processor.

Settings

• Period of fractal trend change – period that determines the size of the fractal
• Period line MA – period of the SmoothingMA line on which the change in trend by fractals is displayed
• Display indicator on historical bars – number of bars to display the indicator
• Line thickness 0-10 – thickness of indicator lines
• Buy line color – color of the line to buy
• Sell line color – sell line color
• Trend change color – color of the trend change point
• Show info board – show/hide the information panel
• Alert trend change – show an alert when the trend changes
• Push notification trend change – send a push notification when a trend changes
• Email trend change – send an email when the trend changes
