Mega Alert Level: A Simple yet Invaluable Indicator

This assistant delivers sound, informational, push, and email notifications of your choice when the currency pair’s price touches or approaches standard support and resistance levels or any other objects on the chart that you select.

The indicator attaches to horizontal support and resistance lines or any other objects on the chart that you choose, plotted on the chart using the terminal’s standard tools.

In the settings window, you only need to select the types of notifications—Email, Popup, or Push. You can choose all or only those you need. Keep in mind that if you want to receive Email or Push notifications, they must be correctly configured in the settings of the MT4 terminal. Your selected settings will be reflected in the upper right corner of the chart.

To start receiving signals from the indicator, you need to attach it to the lines or levels on the chart or any other objects on the chart that you have selected.

Select the desired line on the chart, right-click on it, and in the line description, specify the command Alert_10. If you simply write Alert, it will signal when the price touches the level itself.

This is the command for our indicator to alert when the price touches the selected line. Moreover, the number after the underscore in the indicator’s command indicates the number of pips from the set level when the signal should sound. In other words, if our level (as shown in the picture) is set at 0.97971, and the value of the indicator is Alert_10, then the signal will occur 10 pips before the level at the price value of 0.97961. The indicator algorithm is configured to constantly compare the currency pair’s price with the parameters you set in the indicator settings for the level and triggers a signal when these values ​​match. As a result, you can customize the signal as you see fit. Keep in mind that during fast price movements in the forex market, the terminal and indicator may take a few seconds to generate and send you the signal.
