Structure Breakout EA is an Expert Advisor inspired by structure breakout trading. It seeks to capture the explosive movements that follow a period of consolidation. It allows the user to adapt the EA to trend breakouts automatically recognized by the robot or to price structure breakouts. It is also highly customizable, which allows it to be easily adapted to different pairs, timeframes and risk profiles. It is independent of market sessions. The number of input parameters has been limited to make it easier to use and understand.

Structure Breakout EA  DOES NOT use high risk methods such as Martingale or Grids.

It is ideal for trendy financial assets or for the final phase of a consolidation period.

Unlike other EAs, Structure Breakout EA includes a graphical interface that allows the user to enable or disable long and short positions.

As in manual trading, Structure Breakout EA is susceptible to fake outs to be able to capture the complete trend movement from its initial phase. 

The testing and optimization of the input parameters for the conditions of each user and broker are highly recommended to maximize results.

The graphical interface cannot be tested in Strategy Tester!!

Input parameters

Settings:

• Trend or Structure Breakouts: Breakouts in Trends or Price Structures
• Enable Buys: Enable Buys
• Enable Sells: Enable Sells

Risk Management Settings:

• Lot Size: Position’s volume (Must be higher than the minimum and lower than the maximum Symbol Volume)

Settings for Price Structure: Only with Structure breakouts activated

• Structure Tolerance [>1] : Tolerance for searching price structures. Higher usually indicates fewer entries

Settings for Trend: Only with Trend breakouts activated

• Trend Tolerance [>2] : Tolerance for trend search. Higher usually indicates fewer entries
• Max position number per direction [1-4]: Maximum number of entries in the same direction

Display:

• Show UI: Enable Graphical Interface (Not testable in Strategy Tester)
